On the Upper West Side food tour, we’ll explore one of New York City’s most vibrant and historic neighborhoods while sampling some of its best local eats. Along the way, we’ll visit renowned landmarks, admire the neighborhood’s diverse architecture, explore film and TV locations, and uncover its rich history.
1. Broad Nosh Bagels
Our first stop is Broad Nosh Bagels, home to one of New York City's most popular bagels, made using traditional methods—hand-rolled, boiled, and baked to perfection. While we're here we will sample an everything bagel with freshly whipped cream cheese.

2. The Arconia from Only Murders In The Building
Our first sightseeing stop is The Arconia, the iconic apartment building from Only Murders in the Building. This real-life Upper West Side landmark is a must-see for fans of the show, offering a glimpse into the world of Charles, Oliver, and Mabel.

3. Mimi's Pizza
Our next stop is Mimi's Pizza, because no New York City food tour would be complete without a classic slice. You'll enjoy a thin and crispy New York cheese slice alongside their handmade garlic knots, served with a rich marinara sauce for dipping.

Where does the Upper West Side Food Tour start?
The Upper West Side Food Tour starts at Broad Nosh Bagels (2350 Broadway, New York, NY 10024). Your tour guide will meet you outside the restaurant ready to greet you and the rest of the group.
Where does the tour finish?
The food tour will end at Magnolia Bakery (200 Columbus Ave, New York, NY 10023). After the tour has finished your tour guide will assist you with directions to ensure a safe journey to your next destination.
Is the food tour suitable if I have dietary restrictions?
We strive to accommodate food allergies and dietary restrictions to the best of our ability. However, we cannot guarantee that every stop will be able to meet specific dietary needs, as some dishes may include allergens or be prepared in kitchens where cross-contamination is possible. If you have any allergies or dietary requirements, please inform us when booking so we can coordinate with our partners and explore suitable options.
Will the tour be canceled due to bad weather?
Our food tours run rain, hail, or shine, but we understand if you’d prefer to reschedule or cancel due to unfavorable weather. Simply contact us at least 24 hours before your tour starts, and we’ll gladly accommodate your request. However, please note that cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are non-refundable, as we coordinate food tastings with our restaurant partners ahead of time.
Is the tour suitable for children?
Yes! Children and infants are more than welcome to join the Upper West Side food tour. We also offer discounted pricing for children under 12 years of age with tickets only costing $65pp and infants under the age of 3 are free.
Is there enough food during the food tour?
Our advice is to come hungry to the tour! We've created our Upper West Side Food Tour to ensure that everyone leaves the tour feeling full. We have 6 different food stops along the way ranging from small bites to larger samples. Whether you're a big eater or small eater we have plenty of food available to make sure you leave satisfied.
Is there a lot of walking?
This tour has around 1.8 miles (3 kilometers) of walking in total. On the Greenwich Village food tour, we stop every 10-15 minutes with plenty of opportunities to sit down and take a break.
How many people per tour?
We like to keep our food tour groups small to ensure that you get as much face time with your tour guide as possible and they can answer all your questions. The maximum amount of people on the tour will be 15 guests but most of the time our tours have between 2-10 guests. If you would prefer to do a private food tour we also offer those as well.
Can I choose my own food?
Our tours feature pre-organized food selections to ensure a curated experience. However, we can accommodate certain dietary restrictions with suitable substitutes when notified in advance. For a customized tour experience, we offer private food tours that can be tailored to your preferences.
Do I need to make a reservation for the foods of NY tours?
All tours must be booked in advance. Booking typically closes the day before the tour on any of our NYC food tours.
Are gratuities included in the price?
Gratuities are not included in the tour price. While they are never expected, they are always appreciated if you feel your tour guide has provided an exceptional experience!
